Congratulations!  You are interested in making your own pet food because it’s less expensive than buying pre-made food, you will know exactly what is going into your pet’s food, and you can tailor your pet’s food to suit his or her special dietary needs and preferences.  But with so many overwhelming choices, conflicting information, and varied opinions on how to get started making your own pet food, it can be very confusing and frustrating.
